In 2002 the Karlin district of Prague, almost destroyed by floods, was reconstructed and renewed by small local firms, such as Nejen Bistro, a little restaurant, which serves homemade dishes with season ingredients, wines and artisan fresh beers.

The soul of the restaurant is the interconnection between the living room and the kitchen, forming a unified space where each one sees everything and nothing is hidden. The brick wall is the unique visible memory of the original location, the rest has been covered and restructured with a wise mix of different materials.

The melamine chipboard is the main advantage of these spaces that should be reorganised, contributing to the design, creating details and working with materials like glass, steel, iron, the white colour, tables or the wall with a library, drawing a mural of morphologic compositions.
The colours of wood and the industrial lighting are protagonists of this commercial space, reaching Unity, Modernity, Heat and Sight.
